Meet retired cop, Sam Prichard.
Sam Prichard was a cop, and a good one, until the bullets took out the joint of his right hip. Now he’s trying to learn to live without being a cop, and getting to know his neighbors, learning to walk again and even ride a motorcycle. Life is bearable, barely, but then he gets asked to find a missing child, and the lure of getting back into some kind of police work is too much for him to resist. When he teams up with computer whiz Indiana Perkins, he suddenly becomes one of the best investigators he’s ever even known.

Until she found her new husband hanging from a chandelier…
Six months pregnant and devastated, Carmen Winters is forced to pick up the pieces of her shattered life. Before she can even begin to grieve, she finds herself being pursued by Bradford West, her late husband’s best friend. Brad’s strange behavior puzzles Carmen, but she is too distraught and overwhelmed to push him away.
As she grows obsessed with understanding the madness that took her husband, Carmen finds her own mind unraveling dangerously to the brink of insanity. She is convinced that her sister Helen was the last person to see her husband alive, and might have some information about his death.

“I tell myself every day that I don’t hate my job… But there’s a reason I’m trying to leave the madness of the casino pit to become a Private Investigator.”
Cupcake-loving croupier Tiffany Black is determined to leave her job at the casino for good. She’s one small step away from acquiring her Private Investigator license, and has her eye on the prize.
Accepting her first real case – investigating the murder of casino-mogul Ethan Becker – should be exciting. Instead, things spiral out of control and Tiffany finds herself in over her head, as she confronts secretive suspects, corrupt casino henchmen and a bodyguard with a mysterious past.
Tiffany’s poker-hustling Nanna and pushy parents want her to find a nice man and settle down, but Tiffany just wants to track down the real murderer before he finds her first…

FACT:Way too many of us live in a state of poor health, lethargy and moderate obesity. We live with headaches, back pain, inflammation, arthritis, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, skin problems, insomnia and cancer -they’re all the byproducts of modern western diet, based on processed food. Superfoods are foods and the medicine and they can help with all these symptoms!! .

Imagination amplifies and colors every other element of genius, and unlocks our potential for understanding and ability.
It’s no coincidence that geniuses not only dare to dream of the impossible for their work, but do the same for their lives. They’re audacious enough to think that they’re not just ordinary players.

A young boyfrom rural Georgia and an old man in a nursing home have nothing in common. Nevertheless, a lasting bond is the result of their chance meeting. Deep and meaningful exchanges of life lessons and experiences dominate their conversations over time. The old man gains new meaning and purpose for living from the friendship and the boy grows in wisdom and knowledge as the old man guides him along. These completely developed characters are both complex and interesting. The old man has no known past, which is not fully revealed until the very end of the story. The source of his great wisdom and depth of knowledge is then quite evident. The book is about personal relationships, family values, small town life, university experiences and wartime combat. It has a love interest that begins at a university, develops over time and results in marriage. The book tenderly portrays death and the full range of very deep and personal emotions that follow. The reader will find a fair amount of comic relief, mainly through humorous relationships between the central characters and other exaggerated personalities. The storyline fully develops the characters and the times they live in. I believe the novel will be of interest to all ages. The book does not portray graphic violence, immoral behavior, or crude language to tell the story. The plot stands on its own merit.

On January 22,1959, Old Main Dormitory at Mississippi State University was home to 1,100 college students. But early on Friday morning, January 23rd, the students were homeless. Old Main was ablaze and the ruins of the largest student housing facility in the United States would later produce the charred body of one of its own.
