Author “cj petterson” is the pen name of Marilyn A. Johnston. She is an award-winning writer whose short fiction and non-fiction stories have appeared in several anthologies, including the 2013 The Mississippi Gulf Coast and Neighboring Sites.

 

Writing as cj petterson, Marilyn loves to stretch her alter-ego writing skills and writes in multiple genres. Her latest romantic suspense novel, Choosing Carter, is scheduled for launch in August 2015. Her works-in-progress include a middle grade fantasy and a budding mystery series that features a Yankee trying to earn a living as a female sleuth in the Deep South, a story line ever-so-slightly based on real life (except for the sleuth part).

 

Marilyn has served as a judge for Romance Writers of America’s Daphne du Maurer contest. She is a member of Sisters-in-Crime, Guppies (SinC’s on-line “Great Unpublished” chapter), the Alabama Writers Conclave, and a charter member of the Mobile Writers Guild.
